Martina Groenegres General Manager, Beijing and Chief Representative, Lufthansa Passenger Airlines. Martina Groenegres was appointed as General Manager Beijing for Lufthansa Passenger Airlines effective 1 September 2008. Based in Beijing, she is responsible for the passenger airline’s commercial activities including sales and marketing in Northern China and Mongolia. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Groenegres was General Manager of the Customer Service and Support Center based in Shanghai since September 2004. Between 2000 and 2004, Ms. Groenegres was Key Account Manager and Online Sales Manager based in Beijing. Ms. Martina Groenegres first joined Lufthansa as Manager Corporate Strategy and Development in Frankfurt in 1996. From 1996 to 2000, she was appointed as the head of China Coordination Office based in Beijing in charge of business development for the Lufthansa Aviation Group. Before joining Lufthansa, Ms. Groenegres was Human Resources Manager at Wella Cosmetics (China) and worked for Henkel Chemicals KGaA in Duesseldorf, New York, and London from 1985 to 1987. Ms. Groenegres was born in Dusseldorf on 20 August 1964. Fluent in Mandarin, she holds a masters degree in Economics from the University of Trier in Germany. She is married and has one daughter and one son. |
