Gene is the Co-Founder & CEO of HotelVP – a mobile APP providing highly-discounted hotel room booking service; Prior to that, he worked in China Mobile for group purchasing on business travel and strategy planning of jf.10086.cn. He was also responsible for new products when working in Newegg US.

In Mid 2011, Gene started his own firm of “Hotelvp” with his partner Mr. Mars Ren to sell highly-discounted hotel rooms on Mobile APP “Hotel Tonight Specials” by utilizing “Last Minute benefit” and LBS. The APP soon became popular and currently has 3+ million users and covers 300 cities in Mainland China for regular booking and about 1000 hotels for Last-minute products.
