Leiming currently serves as the Managing Director of the Innovative Business Dept. of Taobao.com, leading Taobao’s travel, insurance, lottery, games, telecommunication related business. Since joining Alibaba Group in 2005, Mr. Yuan has served in various key positions, including head of Legal Dept. of Alibaba, head of Payment Product Dept. and Financial Cooperation Dept. of Alipay. Prior to joining Alibaba, he served on the Strategic Development Dept. of China Union Pay. Mr. Yuan holds a master’s degree in Law from Peking University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation from Hunan University.
