Richard Wiegmann was appointed to the position of Managing Director of Trust International in January 2005. Based out of the Frankfurt⁄Germany headquarters, Richard is responsible for business development and strategy, marketing, client relationships, operations as well as financial and administrative services.

Under Richard’s leadership, Trust International worked with more than 65 hotel chains, connecting them to Global Distribution Systems, 55 Online Travel Agents, commission processing,　Reservation Services and 24⁄7 Global Call Centre services providing over 20 languages.

Trust International recently rolled out the latest language applications in Japanese and Chinese to ‘yourVoyager’, its own in-house Central Reservation System. It is the first time in the industry’s history that a product combines CRS, CRM and Business Intelligence applications. A brand-new CRO module and Third Generation Internet Booking Engine, Guestbooker with cutting edge applications to compliments the range of products and services provided by Trust.

Prior to joining Trust International, Richard held several executive positions within Travelport (former owner of Trust International) including Vice President of Hospitality EMEA & Asia Pacific. He also held several positions within AMADEUS, Bertelsmann and DER. His experience includes distribution technology, distribution and reservation operations, logistics and tour operator management.
