As General Manager of Baidu Key Account National Channels & Regional Sales (Eastern & Southern China), Michael looks after two major functions – Channels & Sales, in Baidu key account departments. He has been working in the internet industry for over 10 years, with rich experiences and profound insights of China digital market.
Michael joined Baidu in April 2008 as Manager of Search Engine Marketing team (Eastern China). He led his team worked out the “Search Engine Marketing Principles & Protocols”, the first booklet of this kind in Baidu. Via this breakthrough contribution, Baidu standardized the practice principle of search engine industry and established the leading position within the industry. Due to his outstanding performance, Michael was transferred to East China Key Account Sales division in 2009 as GM and got promoted again in 2011 as GM for Greater Southern China and Key Account National Channel division.
For the eight years with Baidu, Michael has been contributing and witness Baidu’s rapid and sustainable growth within search engine market and the internet industry in general.
Before joining Baidu, Michael worked in eBay China and Google China.
