Mr. Philip Liu has over 24 years' experiences of hotel electronic distribution, marketing, sales, account management and e-commerce. With current capacity of General Manager- China of Sabre Hospitality Solutions, he is responsible for China business development.
Prior to China assignment, he served as the Director of Strategic Account Management for Sabre Hospitality Solutions. He was tasked to provide strategic account management service to all key customers to help them identify new business opportunity and grow existing business to drive more profitable partnership on consultative sales approach. Additionally, he also managed Sabre global hotel customers in Asia Pacific region.
Before joining Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Mr. Liu was the corporate Manager of Hotel and Car business for Asia leading GDS - Abacus at its Singapore corporate head office, responsible for all aspects of Abacus GDS hotel and Car: from marketing, sales to training and product development. He was also the pioneer country manager/Chief Representative in China to set up Utell/Pegasus entire operations, with P&L responsibility, to grow the hotel portfolio in China market, call center operation and build the company as a household name in China travel industry.
Mr. Liu is highly result driven and customer focused, specialized in growing the startup company into profitability. He started his hotel career as hotel management trainee and also worked in international brand hotel chains like Shangri-La and Peninsula in key management position of operations and sales marketing department.
