The year 2015 has been a year of evolution, revolution and integration for China’s hospitality industry.

There are more hotels yet they are increasingly homogenized. Public reviews are chipping away at brand equity. Mobile consumption habits are neutralizing traditional hotel marketing. Short-term rental and sharing economy are taking the market by storm. Struggling hotels have their bottom lines further squeezed by competition with other hotels and the de facto monopolization of consolidated OTAs. So what is the way ahead?

Over 650 leaders in the global hospitality industry will attend the 2016 China Hotel Marketing Conference, "Break The Border", to be held on May 18-19 in Shanghai.
