Lily Cheng joined TripAdvisor (NDQ:TRIP) in October 2010 and she currently serves as Managing Director for TripAdvisor China (daodao.com), overseeing product development, engineering, sales, marketing and partnership functions in the region.

Prior to TripAdvisor, she served in several strategy and management positions at Expedia Inc. (NDQ:EXPE) including the expansion of portfolio brands such as Hotels.com and Expedia.com into Asia Pacific based out of Hong Kong as well as the global expansion of Expedia's affiliate and private label business operating out of the London office. While at Expedia, she served as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of eLong Inc. (NDQ:LONG), a leading online travel business in China.

Lily was with the Boston Consulting Group consumer goods practice area in Greater China from 2006 to 2008. In the early part of her career, she was the founder CEO of a Cambridge-based technology business funded by Benchmark Capital which pioneered the deployment of inductive wireless power transfer technologies in applications ranging from consumer electronics to medical imaging devices.

Lily holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Distinction from the University of Cambridge. She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese. Lily is based in TripAdvisor's office in Beijing, China.
