Melissa is an experienced entrepreneur and CTO in travel, internet, and search engine industry.

She was a director of development and responsible for infrastructure and backend of all line of business at Expedia from 2001-2006. After that she joined Escapiaas CTO to build software for professional property managers and consumer vacation rental web site from 2007-2009. In 2010, she came back to China to work at Microsoft. She was in charge of Bing product for Asian market and focused on search engine in China, Japan and Korea. Since July 2011, she has co-founded Tujia.com, a mid-high end vacation rental company in China.

Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Automation from Tsinghua University and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
