Roy has over 16 years of tourism industry experience in business development, marketing, distribution, sales and e-commerce. From 2002-2005 he headed the Independent Travel division in China on behalf of Gullivers Travel Associates. In 2005 Roy left China to London and started ChinaContact, a market entry specialist for China. He worked with national and regional tourism promotion boards, hotel chains, tour operators, technology companies and event producers on strategies and implementation of China market access. In 2009 Roy joined Expedia as Director of New Business Development based in London. In this global role Roy is looking at opportunities for Expedia Affiliate Network working with the travel trade in different markets. Roy is a fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker and student of Chinese philosophy, literature and poetry. |
